Provincial Police are investigating after a driver approached a young girl near Fergus earlier this week.
OPP say it happened Tuesday afternoon as a girl was walking home down Ferrier Street near Elgin.
She got off her school bus and was approached by a driver, who asked if she wanted a ride home.
The girl ran home and told her mother, who then called police.
The driver is described as a white man, in his mid 60s, with a ‘baldish’ head and white hair cut short to around his ears. He had a grey beard and moustache, a deep voice, and was wearing a baggy t-shirt.
The vehicle is described as a dark blue, four-door car.
Wellington County OPP are hoping to speak with the driver, and anyone with information is asked to contact them at 1-888-310-1122.
