Police seize multiple drugs during traffic stop, Kitchener man charged

A routine traffic stop in Kitchener led to a number of drug charges being laid.

Regional Police say they stopped a vehicle at River Road and Ottawa Street on Thursday.

Police became suspicious and conducted a search, and that’s when they found a number of drugs — including suspected fentanyl.

Police say the man was also in possession of cocaine, methamphetamine, and marijuana.

The 54-year-old man faces a number of drug charges.
