Motorcyclist dead after crash at busy Guelph intersection

One person is dead, another injured, after a fatal crash at a busy intersection in Guelph.
Police say the driver of a motorcycle may have been going too fast, when it smashed into the side of a car last night.
It happened at the intersection of Edinburgh and Wellington streets just before 6:30 p.m.
The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene, while the woman in the car was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
The roads in that area were closed for several hours while police investigated.
