Regional Police say a 17-year-old boy walking alone in Kitchener last night was robbed by five men brandishing a knife.

It’s alleged the victim was on Activa Avenue near W.T. Townshend Public School, when he was approached by five men who demanded he turn over his property at knifepoint.

The suspects are described between the ages of 19- and 21-years-old, and were said to be wearing bandannas over their faces.

Investigators are still trying to track down the suspects, after a search of the area by the K-9 unit last night turned up empty.

The victim was uninjured.

Police believe this was a random attack.
