Man armed with syringe holds up Guelph pharmacy

A scary incident at a pharmacy in the west end of Guelph.
Just before noon on Wednesday, Guelph Police say a man demanded drugs and threatened customers and staff with a syringe.
Guelph Police arrived while the man was still in the store, but he refused to surrender and began threatening the officers.
The man was taken eventually taken into custody after being hit by a conducted energy weapon.
Police found the 28-year-old-man was also wanted on three other charges.
The suspect is currently in custody charge with robbery, uttering threats, possession of a dangerous weapon and others charges.
