Helicopter helps with early morning construction in Waterloo

It’s not something you see every day — a helicopter helping with construction at Conestoga Mall.

Reports came into 570 News on Sunday morning that a ‘chopper’ could be heard flying over that area of Waterloo.

Regional Police confirm that the helicopter was called in to assist with construction, and has since left the area.

Although it caused a bit of a headache for some living in the area, it also attracted lots of attention from motorists and those walking by.

Regional Police Chief Bryan Larkin tweeted – ‘Early morning construction at Conestoga Mall got some major air support. Happy Sunday!’
