It’s the last day of the Cambridge Scottish Festival and it’s something you’re not going to want to miss.
Duncaun McLeod President of the festival tells 570 News the massed bands are quite the sight to see. “We have 27 pipe bands, which is about 750 pipers and drummers on the field at the same time, it’s really worthwhile to see and you will leave quite satisfied if that’s all you came to see.”
McLeod adds there is much more to see than the massed bands such as, highland dance competition, genealogy seminars, a children’s glen, heavy events competition, and a beer garden.
The festival is in its 42nd year and it starts at 8:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. at Churchill Park.
Tickets for seniors are $15, adults are $17 and children get in free.
