Ray of Hope receives over $1-million for youth employment efforts

Local youths looking to find work received some significant help from the federal government on Thursday.
MPP Raj Saini was on hand to announce that Ray of Hope with receive $1.1 million to fund job training and employment to 70 young people struggling to find work.
Along with full time employment, those in the six-month program will also receive first aid, food handling, and WHMIS training.
Ray of Hope has already partnered with a number of employers including Shoppers Drug Mart, Swiss Chalet, and Staples.
