The Beer Store set to announce delivery service

A big announcement coming from The Beer Store — delivery.

The chain is expected to announce it is launching a trial project in east-end Toronto called ‘Beer Express.’

Customers will be able to order beer online or through an app, and have it delivered to their house.

According to Postmedia, delivery will come with an $8 delivery charge, and customers will have to prove at the door that they’re of legal age.

The Beer Store insists it will also not deliver to customers who are visibly intoxicated.

Launching of Beer Xpress will take place on Wednesday where more details will be unveiled at a Mississauga location.
