60-year-old arrested for assaulting bylaw officer in Grand Bend

A beach trip turned violent in Grand Bend after a bylaw officer was assaulted while trying to hand out a parking ticket.
OPP were called to the bylaw office around 11:40 a.m. Wednesday after a man became irate while being handed a $35 parking ticket.
The 60-year-old suspect then allegedly threatened, and assaulted the officer.
Joseph McPhail of Bosanquet Township faces charges including assaulting a Peace Officer, and will appear in Sarnia Court in July.
