Over $15,000 worth of drugs seized from Kitchener man

More than $15,000 worth of drugs have been taken off the streets after a major drug bust in Kitchener.

The Waterloo Regional Police Service Drugs and Firearms Unit began an investigation in the Weber Street East area after reports someone was selling methamphetamine and fentanyl.

On Tuesday June 20th a 46-year-old man was arrested in a nearby parking lot. Police then searched a home in Kitchener where they seized 59 grams of meth, 21 grams of suspected fentanyl, 15 grams of crack cocaine, 97 MDMA capsules, nine grams of heroin, 25 oxycodone tablets, 594 grams of marijuana, and cash.

Police say the man is charged with 10 counts of Possession For The Purpose of Trafficking and two counts of Breach of Recognizance.
