Vernile running for re-election in Kitchener-Centre

The rookie Liberal MPP for Kitchener-Centre hopes to remove the rookie tag after the next provincial election.

Daiene Vernile will be seeking re-election when voters head to the polls next June.

Vernile was first elected to the Ontario legislature in 2014.

She’s also served as Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Research and Innovation and Science, and the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Transportation.

Vernile says, “It’s been an honour and privilege to represent our community at Queen’s Park, and I’m enthusiastic to once again represent Kathleen Wynne’s Ontario Liberal team.”

She adds, “We have accomplished a great deal for Kitchener-Centre, from job creation to enhancing access to health care, but the work isn’t done yet. I look forward to continuing to fight for and deliver on the needs of my constituents.”
