47 charges for London man arrested in Kitchener after string of car break-ins

Waterloo Regional Police have laid 47 charges on a London man arrested in connection with a string of vehicle break ins in Waterloo Region.

Members of the Waterloo Regional Police break and enter and auto theft team arrested the 40 year-old man on May 9.

Police allege the man came to the Region on four separate dates in April and May and target vehicles parked by trials and parks.

Police say the suspect smashed windows and stole valuables that were left in the open.

The targeted locations include: McLennan Park, Steckle Woods Park, The Walter Bean Trail, The Paris Rail Trail and Churchill Park.

In total the man faces 47 charges including theft, mischief, credit card fraud and driving while disqualified.
