Police investigate armed robbery at Kitchener gas station

Regional Police are searching for a suspect after an armed robbery at a gas station in Kitchener.
Police say a man entered the Petro Canada on Highland Road around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, and threatened the cashier with a gun.
The man took off with a handful of cash, and was seen speeding away in a vehicle similar to a 2006 Silver Infiniti.
Police say the cashier was uninjured and they’re still working to identify the suspect.
He’s described as white, in his early to mid 20s, and has a thin build. He was last seen wearing jeans, blue Nike shoes, a blue hoodie, and a white, blue and red striped jacket.
