Outdoor sports facilities in Waterloo officially open on May 6th

It’ll be a busy week for city staff in Waterloo as they get ready to open their sports fields.
The City says all of their outdoor soccer and baseball facilities will be open and ready for use on Saturday, May 6th.
In the meantime, staff are asking us to stay off the fields as they’re still being prepped.
They say overuse too early in the season can cause severe damage, which is costly and time consuming to repair.
