Miss Vickies recalling Jalapeno chips for fear of salmonella contamination

One of the most popular brands of potato chips in Canada has issued a recall, for fear of salmonella contamination.

Miss Vickies is taking certain bags of its Jalapeno flavoured kettle chips off store shelves, and out of vending machines.

The company says there’s a potential presence of salmonella in the seasoning.

There are no reported illnesses.

The recalled Jalapeno chips were sold in three bag sizes, with a “Guaranteed Fresh” date of June 20, or earlier.
