Canadian Hearing Society remains on strike; rally held at K-W office

Workers at the K-W office of the Canadian Hearing Society remain out on strike Friday.
The CUPE members have been off the job since March 6th
Colleagues from the agency’s offices in Peel and Hamilton were in Kitchener today at the Ottawa Street North office picket line.
Sick leave and health plan benefits remain key items in the dispute.
Over 200 CUPE members hit the picket line at 24 offices around the province.
Those on strike include audiologists, counselors and program coordinators.
CUPE says they have not had a wage increase in four years.
