You can checkout first LRT vehicle on April 8th

You can get up close and personal with Waterloo’s first ION light rail transit (LRT) vehicle during an open house on Saturday, April 8th.
The event will take place from 1 until 5 p.m. at the Region of Waterloo’s Operations, Maintenance and Storage Facility at 518 Dutton Drive in Waterloo.
Staff from ION, Bombardier and GrandLinq will all be on hand to answer any questions.
The second LRT vehicle will arrive as early as June.
Residents will have another chance to see the ION vehicle during Doors Open in September.
