Rangers drop close one to Greyhounds

The Kitchener Rangers saw their losing streak hit two on Sunday afternoon.

The East Avenue Blue fell 2-1 to the Greyhounds in front of over 7,100 fans at The Aud.

Zachary Senyshyn scored both of the goals for the Soo.

Joseph Garreffa potted the lone Kitchener goal, his 24th of the campaign.

“Obviously it hurts, but we’ll take positives. It does sting a bit, losing tight games light this, it sucks.” said Garreffa.

The Rangers close out a home and home with the Greyhounds in the Soo on Friday. 570 NEWS has the pre-game show at 6:35 p.m.

Kitchener remains sixth in the West, meaning they would face London in the first round of the playoffs.
