Rangers extend winning streak to three

Cedric Schiemenz scored the game winner in Kitchener’s 4-1 victory over the IceDogs in St. Catharines Thursday.

He notched his third goal of the season with his dad and other family in the stands, visiting from Germany.

“Our coach Keezer (Jay McKee) said I kept my feet moving in the offensive zone, so I got a couple of chances off that…It was an overall good game from the whole line.” said Schiemenz.

The other Kitchener goals came from Dylan Di Perna, Adam Mascherin and Cole Carter.

Luke Richardson made 31 saves for the win.

The Rangers take a three game winning streak into their home game with London on Friday. 570 NEWS has the pre-game show at 7 p.m.

Kitchener has dropped 12 in a row to the Knights.
