Waterloo man threatens bar staff with knife, crashes car at Erb and Ira Needles

A Waterloo man has been charged after police say he threatened bar staff with a knife before crashing his vehicle at Erb and Ira Needles.

Regional Police say they were called to The Pub on King in Waterloo late Sunday night after the man began waving a knife at security staff.

The man took off before police arrived, but ended up crashing his car at a nearby intersection.

The 25-year-old man faces weapon and dangerous driving charges.
