Man charged in fatal Kitchener arrow attack will stand trial for first degree murder

A Kitchener man will stand trial for first degree murder in the death of a man struck by an arrow over a year ago.

30-year-old Eric Amaral is charged in the October 2015 death of 60-year-old Michael Gibbon.

Gibbon was struck by an arrow and killed while walking on Margaret Avenue.

The Record says no date has been set yet for the trial.
