Kitchener cancels snow event

The City of Kitchener issued a snow event Sunday evening, with no cars allowed to park on city streets from 10 p.m. on until the event is lifted.
Those who park on the streets risk being towed or facing an $80 fine.
This is to help snow plows and salt trucks navigate through the city.
The City cancelled the snow event just after 2 p.m. on Monday.
