Waterloo Regional Police are out with a familiar winter time message.
They are warning us not to leave our keys in the car or to leave our vehicles running in your lane-way or when it is left unattended.
Although it is tempting to wait inside while your vehicle heats up, Police have received dozens of auto-theft calls.
Police say that many of these auto-thefts are happening in rural areas.
So they are warning not to make it easy for thieves and keep you vehicles locked up.
