17-year-old arrested in connection with back-to-back armed robberies in Guelph

An arrest has been made in connection with two back-to-back armed robberies in Guelph.

Guelph Police say both robberies happened on October 27th.

Two men entered the Gas Bar on Imperial Road South and robbed the clerk at gun point. Minutes later, two men entered a convenience store across the road on Paisley and robbed that clerk at gunpoint.

Wednesday morning, Guelph Police arrested and charged a young man from Scarborough in connection with the robberies.

The 17-year-old faces numerous charges including robbery with a firearm and is being held in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
