Bracco and Garreffa power Rangers past Petes

It was the Bracco and Garreffa show in Peterborough on Thursday night.

Jeremy Bracco and Joseph Garreffa each had four points as the Rangers downed the Petes 7-4, Bracco with a third period hat trick plus a helper, Garreffa had two goals and two assists.

“…I guess things go right here for myself and the team, that’s always a good sign when you are winning, so we’ll take that.” said Bracco.

The Toronto Maple Leafs prospect made his OHL debut in Peterborough last October, collecting two assists.

Garreffa tells 570 News it meant a lot to be able to play on the first line.

Rangers Head Coach Jay McKee says Garreffa is a coaches dream – “He plays forward, defence, he kind of does it all and he does it in stride, with a smile on his face…He’s the type of player that every coach wants to have on their team.”

Dawson Carty made 28 saves for his 10th win of the season.

Kitchener is home to the Generals Friday. 570 News has the pre-game show at 7pm.

The Generals are the top team in the Eastern Conference and have won eight straight games.
