U of G and U-W athlete major award winners in field hockey

Two local athletes are major award winners in OUA field hockey.

Olivia Lane, a forward with the Guelph Gryphons, was named OUA MVP.

The former rookie of the year led the league with 17 goals in 12 games, helping to guide her hometown team to a 9-1 and 2 record in the regular season.

Hilary Neeb of the Waterloo Warriors was named Goalie of the Year for a second straight season.

The Wellesley native posted a goals against average of 2.83 in 12 games.

Lane and Neeb were also named all-stars, along with Ciara Condon (Guelph Gryphons) and Jenna Remedios (Waterloo Warriors).
