HALIBURTON, Ont. – Provincial police say they’ve made an arrest in the death of a Bowmanville man who went missing last year.
David Palmer, 47, vanished a week before Thanksgiving last year.
His car was found days later near Haliburton but his body was not discovered for several more months.
Police say they’ve arrested William Savage of Fenelon Falls and charged him with first degree murder in Palmer’s death.
Savage is due to appear in court in Lindsay later today.
Police say the investigation continues as they try to track down Palmer’s wallet and cellphone, which are still missing.
