Police investigate back-to-back armed robberies in Guelph

Police are investigating after two back-to-back armed robberies occurred in Guelph.

Guelph Police say two men armed with a gun entered the Gas Bar on Imperial Road South just after midnight and robbed the store clerk of cash and cigarettes.

Minutes later, two gunmen entered the convenience store across the street on Paisley Road and robbed that clerk of cash and cigarettes.

Police now they say believe the four men were working together, as the incidents happened almost simultaneously.

The men are described as non-white, between five-foot-five and six-feet-two, wearing hoods and face obscuring devices.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 519-824-1212 ext. 7107 or Crime Stoppers.
