Guelph homeowner wakes up to strange man standing in their kitchen

A scary situation for a homeowner in Guelph after they woke up to a stranger standing in their kitchen.
Guelph Police say it happened just after 5 a.m. on Monday morning at a home on Huron Street.
The homeowner caught the man in their kitchen and asked him to leave– which he did, but then continued lurking around the front property of the home.
31-year-old Curtis McGowan of Guelph man has been charged with unlawfully being in a dwelling and three counts of probation.
