Undefeated Kitchener Rangers open stretch of 3 games in 4 days tonight vs. Sarnia

The OHL regular season is young, but the Kitchener Rangers have yet to lose.

They take their perfect record back to the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium tonight to battle the Sarnia Sting.

The Rangers have outscored their opponents 19-8 on their way to a 3-0 start, with wins over Flint, North Bay and Sudbury.

Now, they add more offensive firepower to their lineup with the addition of Jeremy Bracco.

The 2015 NHL second-round pick says it was disappointing to be cut by the Toronto Maple Leafs, but he’s looking forward to suiting up against the Sting.

”To come back to an organization like this, a staff and a team like this, the way they’ve started, is pretty exciting for myself. I’m happy to get going,” said Bracco.

Bracco, along with Adam Mascherin and Darby Llewellyn, will be making their home debuts.

Head Coach Jay McKee says he expects Doug Blaisdell to make his season debut tonight, while defenseman Connor Hall is still nursing an injury, he’s hoping to get back in the lineup as early as next weekend.

Eric Guest will begin serving his five-game suspension tonight for verbal abuse of a player that happened during Sunday’s win over Sudbury.

Tune in to 570 NEWS for tonight’s game; the pre-game show starts at 7p.m., puck drop at 7:30.

The Rangers then travel to Barrie for a matchup against the Colts tomorrow night, before returning home for a Thanksgiving Day tilt against the Guelph Storm.
