OPP investigating after hundreds of marijuana plants found in Minto

Wellington County OPP are looking for a pair of suspects after numerous marijuana plants were seized in the Town of Minto.
OPP say they got a call last Friday from a property owner who found two large duffel bags filled with weed on a field near Wellington Road 4.
Police arrived to the property and while speaking to the owner, saw two male suspects run into a bush and then into a nearby cornfield.
Police used a canine unit and an unmanned aerial vehicle to track down four separate marijuana grow plots, but did not find the suspects.
Over 300 mature marijuana plants were seized and anyone with information is asked to contact Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
