A Calgary Stampeder is dead after a shooting on Macleod Trail.
The Stamps have confirmed Mylan Hicks has died after his“life was taken in act of violence early on Sunday morning.”
Calgary police say a man in his 20’s was gunned down outside the Marquee Beer Market in the 47 hundred block
of Macleod Trail at around 2:30 Sunday morning.
The victim was taken to hospital in critical condition but died shortly after.
Police say they have ‘persons of interest’ in custody but do not elaborate on how many and do not appear to be looking for other suspects.
There’s no word yet on a possible motive for the shooting.
