WRPS seize almost $80,000 in drugs in Guelph, two men facing charges

Two men are facing charges after a large drug bust in Guelph.
Waterloo Regional Police estimate almost $78,000 worth of drugs including heroin and meth were seized from a residence on Wednesday.
The search warrant was executed after two men were arrested on Lester Street in Waterloo.
Police also seized $8,500 in cash.

Waterloo Regional Police Services spokesperson Cherri Greeno says its a good day for police, “We consider this a pretty significant drug seizure for our area, its a lot of drugs taken off the street and we are very proud of our officers.”
A 35 year-old Waterloo and 43 year old from Guelph have been charged with a number of drug charges.
