The summer of 2016 is now done.

570 News Weather Specialist John Wilson says this summer will go down in the books are generally warmer and drier than normal.
He says June was 2 degrees above average for high temperatures, July was 2-and-a-half degrees above average, August was 3-and-a-half above average and September is trending the same way.
As for rainfall, only in August did we experience above average precipitation.
