Two Guelph men face charges after an attempted armed robbery in the city.
Thursday afternoon around 3:30 p.m. police were called to a motel in the north end of the city after reports of a robbery.
The two men had weapons, and tried robbing a man known to them.
They were arrested shortly after the incident on Norwich Street.
A 17-year-old man has been charged with attempt robbery and weapons dangerous. A 22-year-old man has been charged with attempt robbery, utter threat, weapons dangerous, breach of probation and failing to comply with a weapons prohibition order.
Both men are expected to appear in court on Friday.
