FYI: Open/closed list for Labour Day long weekend

It’s the last long weekend before the school year starts – and that means a number of service disruptions.
Most local businesses and government services are closed Labour Day Monday throughout Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge.
That includes Waterloo Region’s big malls: Fairview Park, Conestoga and Cambridge Centre.
If you do have an itch to go shopping, a number of businesses in St. Jacobs will be open.
All outlets of The Beer Store are closed, as are most LCBO outlets— although some locally-owned agency stores may be open.
Grand River Transit will be operating on a Sunday schedule.
There is regular garbage, blue box and green bin pick up.
