Police investigating after early morning robbery in Kitchener

Regional Police say a suspect is in custody after an early morning robbery in Kitchener.
It happened around 2 a.m. in the Chicopee area near Springmount and Oldfield Drive.
Police say the victim was approached by a man who asked for directions, and then pulled out what appeared to be a gun.
The suspect made off with the victim’s backpack, cellphone, laptop and bicycle– but was later apprehended by police.
No injuries were reported and there have not been any charges laid at this time.
