Three local athletes compete at Rio Olympics Tuesday

It will be a busy Tuesday for our local athletes at the Rio Olympics:
-Cambridge rower Carling Zeeman is through to the semi-finals in single sculls at the Rio Olympics. Zeeman was third in her heat in Tuesday’s quarter-finals. She finished with a time of 7:34.52. The semis are scheduled for Thursday at 8:30am ET
-Shelina Zadorsky and our women’s soccer team wrap up group play vs. Germany at 3pm. The Kitchener native missed the last game due to suspension. She was issued a red card in the opener
-At 11pm, Kitchener’s Sarah Pavan and partner Heather Bansley face a Swiss Team in beach volleyball. They won their opening match on Sunday
