Canada’s Milos Raonic to face Yen-Hsun Lu in second round of Rogers Cup

TORONTO – Canada’s Milos Raonic will face Yen-Hsun Lu of Taiwan on Wednesday night in his second round matchup at the Rogers Cup men’s tennis tournament.

Lu defeated Alexander Zverev of Germany 7-5, 6-3 in first round action on Tuesday.

Raonic, of Thornhill, Ont., is 2-0 against the 32-year-old Lu, with his last victory coming in 2014 in Monte Carlo.

Raonic will be playing his first match since the Wimbledon men’s final where he lost to Britain’s Andy Murray. The Canadian received a bye through the first round of the Rogers Cup.

Lu, ranked 70th in the world, improved to 3-3 on the ATP World Tour circuit this season.
