Some of the most active companies traded Tuesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange:

Gran Colombia Gold Corp. (TSX:GCM). Miner. Up four cents, or 33.33 per cent, to 16 cents on 16.8 million shares.

First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (TSX:FM). Miner. Down 43 cents, or 4.13 per cent, to $9.98 on 5.1 million shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, rail equipment. Down six cents, or 2.91 per cent, to $2 on 4.7 million shares.

Teck Resources Ltd. (TSX:TCK.B). Miner. Down $1.12, or 6.02 per cent, to $17.47 on 4.6 million shares.

Eldorado Gold Corp. (TSX:ELD). Miner. Down 20 cents, or 3.18 per cent, to $6.08 on 3.9 million shares.

Stornoway Diamond Corp. (TSX:SWY). Miner. Up nine cents, or 8.65 per cent, to $1.13 on 3.6 million shares.

Companies reporting major news:

BlackBerry Ltd. (TSX:BB). Wireless communications. Down three cents, or 0.34 per cent, to $8.68 on 723,059 shares. BlackBerry says it has received a multimillion-dollar order for secure software that would be used in the U.S. Capitol complex during times of crisis. The order was awarded by the U.S. Senate Sergeant at Arms Office in Washington, D.C. BlackBerry says its AtHoc system will be fully implemented for the Capitol complex over the coming months.
