Conestogo woman killed in St. Jacobs crash

A 74-year-old woman from Conestogo was killed after a crash at Arthur Street and Sawmill Road just after 11am on Monday.
Staff Sgt. Jim Strand says the 74-year-old woman was driving southbound on Arthur when she then crossed over the centre median and struck a transport truck that was travelling in the opposite direction.
Strand says after hitting the truck, the vehicle spun out of control and clipped another car. No one was injured in the other vehicles.
Highway 85 North was closed north of Northfield for several hours.
The Ministry of the Environment was also called in to clean up a fuel spill.
