Three Kitchener Rangers Mascherin, Hall, Bunnaman selected in NHL Draft

Three Kitchener Ranger are off the NHL Draft board!

First Left Winger Adam Mascherin has been selected by the Florida Panthers in the second round, 38th overall.

In the third round defenceman Connor Hall was selected 77th overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Rangers centre Connor Bunnaman went 109th to the Philadelphia Flyers in the fourth round.

Mascherin notched 81 points in 65 games for the Kitchener Rangers this year in the Ontario Hockey League.

The defensively minded Hall was an anchor on Rangers defense. He also collected 9 points on the season.

Bunnaman, a native of Guelph, had 16 goals and 38 point this year for the Rangers.

Kitchener native Logan Stanley was the highest local player to be drafted. The 6’6 225 Lbs. defenceman was taken 18th overall by the Winnipeg Jets.

Nathan Bastian of Kitchener has been selected 41st overall by the New Jersey Devils, Waterloo’s Boris Katchouk selected 44th overall by Tampa Bay, and Stratford’s Keaton Middleton selected 101st overall by Toronto.
