Female driver killed in off road vehicle crash in Huron County

CENTRAL HURON, Ont. – Provincial police in Huron County are investigating an off-road vehicle crash that claimed the life of a local resident.

Officers responded to the crash scene (off of Huron Road) just before midnight.

Police say a John Deere Gator Utility-Terrain Vehicle was travelling in a grassy area when it dropped into a deep ditch and overturned.

They say the female driver was pronounced dead at the scene and a male passenger was uninjured.

The identity of the deceased will be released pending next-of-kin notification.
