Faulds inks contract extension with Laurier football

The Laurier Golden Hawks like what they see in football head coach Michael Faulds.

He’s signed a five year contract extension that will keep him with the Hawks through the 2022-23 season.

“My family and I are absolutely thrilled to be able to continue to call Kitchener/Waterloo home,” said Faulds.

“The goals remain the same; bring Yates & Vanier Cups back to Laurier and more importantly, help young men grow into leaders by the time they graduate,” added Faulds. “I believe with our culture and the talented people around this program we can accomplish both.”

Faulds helped guide Laurier to the OUA semi-finals this past season.

The Hawks open the 2016 campaign at home to Queen’s on Sunday, August 28th.
