Kitchener Panthers victorious in home opener, pushes record to 4-0

The Panthers bats were hot yesterday at Jack Couch Park as they managed to rally their bats to earn 27 hits. They won in deciding fashion 21-1 over the Guelph Royals.
Kitchener’s Justin Interisano went 5-for-5 with five runs batted in, while Cuban pitcher Noelvis Entenza threw six strong innings only giving up one run on three hits while striking out eight Royals batters.
Former Royal Sean Reilly came away with three hits and tied an all-time IBL hit record with 790 hits in his career.
The Panthers pushed their record to 4-0 on the season with the win.
They are back on the field this afternoon in Guelph at 1:00 p.m. at Hastings Park.
