Arrest made in series of bomb threats made to high schools in Waterloo Region

An arrest has been made in connection with a series of bomb threats aimed at local high schools last week.

Threats were made against 5 high schools on April 26th and 27th.

Waterloo Regional Police now say a 15-year-old boy has been arrested.

He’s charged with 14 counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, 14 counts of conveying a false message and 5 counts of breaching the terms of an officer in charge undertaking.
