Suspicious weekend fire in Waterloo causes $300,000

The Ontario Fire Marshal’s office has been called in to investigate a suspicious house fire in Waterloo.
It broke out in a home on Christopher Drive just after 4:30pm on Saturday. Damage is pegged at $300,000.
Three Waterloo Fire Stations responded to the blaze and smoke was visible from the response area.
Waterloo Fire says the roof was engulfed in flames.
One person was taken to hospital with burn injuries.
