Multiple bids for former Schneiders plant in Kitchener

Multiple buyers have submitted bids to buy the former Schneiders property in Kitchener.
Maple Leafs Foods spokesperson, David Bauer tells The Record the company has “received a number of bids from a number of interested parties.”
Maple Leaf put the property up for sale in December, ten months after closing the plant.
The property will likely be sold by the end of 2016.
Bauer tells the paper the company expects to release more information about the sale of the land within a couple months.
