The Kitchener Rangers lace up the skates for a big game tonight at the Aud.
This one, however, does not count in the standings.
It’s the 9th annual Cambridge Ice Hounds/Kitchener Ice Pirates charity game.
The Ice Hounds/Ice Pirates are a team made up of special hockey players, ranging in age from 5 to 47 years old.
Ice Hounds coach Cam Linwood tells 570 News, his players look forward to this game “all season long.”
Organizers say it’s about more than just raising money but also awareness.
Admission is free, but a $5 donation gets you a raffle ticket for some prizes during the game.
Game time tonight is 6:15.
